Hello.. have offers already been made to children who achieved high scores,or do they only find out in March 2019 like everyone else?
Taking an entrance exam for a state selective school is
not applying for a place.
Offers will be made on March 1st, although obviously where schools admit solely on score and report results as a rank, where the rank is within the school's PAN, people can be as sure as they can be that a place will be offered
if they submit their CAF naming that school above any other which can also offer their DC a place.
The actual offer of a place must come via the applicant's home local authority on National Offer Day (1st March or next working day thereafter) and schools which contact those being made an offer in advance of that are in contravention of the Admissions Code.
