You can set start & finish point on Google maps & it will tell you the straight line distance. It won't be as accurate as the software used by the council but it will be pretty good
Distance from the School will be calculated as measured by the London Borough of Barnet. Distance is
measured in a straight line between the address point for the child’s home, supplied by Ordnance Survey,
to the school’s main entrance on Central Square using the Council’s computerised geographical
information system. Where a child lives normally during the school week with more than one parent at
different addresses, the permanent home address for the purposes of school admissions will be the one
where the child spends the majority of school nights Monday – Friday. The Local Authority is rigorous in its
regulation of home addresses, including ensuring that families do not move house in order to gain a place.
