All quite real now we have the time slot. I’ve a few needy questions:
How many sit VR at one particular time? What room is used? The email says to wear school uniform. Will there be an issue if this isn’t worn? Is the maths paper (sat at later date if VR score high enough) multiple choice?
Thank you. Any on the day insights welcome.

There will be at least four different time slots possibly more.
This will depend on how many applicants registered.
The earliest time slot I know of so far is 845am and the latest is 340pm.
The Maths is standard format written in house.
Only 325 applicants will go through to the second round and sit the Maths and English exams.
If your DC (Edited by moderator) is home schooled and/or does not have school uniform I would suggest a smart jacket or jumper and smart trousers and shoes.
Don't turn up in jeans, t shirt and trainers.
They use a series of small rooms and the sports hall.

Have you checked your junk email?
They normally have around 1500 applicants so they can easily get the emails out in one day. DG

I’d check with the school about school uniform, it’s possibly more a thing about spotting those who shouldn’t be there.
DDs school had no such issue, which is just as well, as she sat her test in her PE kit. That’s what she needed to be wearing when she got back to school.
If most children are wearing school uniform, your child might fine better ‘fitting in’ if they wear a uniform. Of course some primaries have quite an informal uniform anyway (certainly around us).

You need to contact the school.
You cannot sit the test unless you have a printout of an allocated slot.
It did say on the website to contract them if you had not received the email after one week.

DAO told me they had some trouble with hotmail accounts so do contact them if you are one of those using hotmail.
