The only Spanish joke I know is one I can't remember properly (this is me and jokes, I get them nearly right, which always kills them). It had to do with a Spanish fireman who had twin sons and one was called José, what was the other called? Hose B.

German joke.
I went to a bar and asked for a dry martini. He gave me three.

Spanish ticked off. DC seems happy and having lunch with friends and some 'new friends from the other school'. Physics pushed back of the mind.

DD say it was OK, writing easy, translation harder than she envisaged.

Physics jokes:

Two Hydrogen atoms walk into a bar.
On checking his pockets one exclaims "Damn, I think I've lost my electron".
"Are you sure?" asks the other.
"Yes, I'm positive"

A neutron walks into a bar and orders a beer.
"How much do I owe you?", he asks the barman.
The barman replies "For you, no charge"

A proton walks into a bar, spies a lonely electron and approaches her saying:
"Can I buy you a drink, I find you very attractive"

And finally:

The barman asks "What would you like to drink?". A neutrino walks into a bar.

DD couldn't work out the last question - but then, with her Irlen's syndrome I don't think the lines stayed still long enough for her to organise them - even with her green glasses on!

There are several dyslexic 'features' to DD which work against her - all the extra time in the world won't make up for something like that - it's just life!! I remind her that everyone has something they find a challenge.

Last one this morning, woo-hoo!! Although poor DS had a bit of a wobble last night and said he is worried that he will be very disappointed on results day :(
Anyway, thanks for all the support on here, this thread has been a life saver over the last 5 weeks! X
