Rhiane, a poster was in the Bucks forum saying they’d just moved into Bucks (in the last week of October!) and were therefore in cachement for their child.... who had also been entered for the Kent tests and the same poster was also on the Kent boards posting about targetting Kent schools, all for the same DC who is currently in year6.

So the above comment was somebody pointing out this interesting dichotomy....

Perhaps the simplest solution is to give up on the family home and get a caravan or mobile home for Y5 and Y6...

I know someone at my daughter's primary school moved for a grammar school. We are in LB of Sutton, but she didn't pass the test for WHSG or Nonsuch. She did pass the Kent test, so the family moved and she ended up at a grammar school in Maidstone I believe. She finished year 6 in her original primary and moved during the summer holidays afaik.
