Thank you very much, Stocky.
Could you also shed some light on Q 12 from Test 8 section 1?
Why the answer is C?

Thanks.

Hi Shagor21 - asked my DD why she picked C.......again please excuse my terminology, unless its rotation, symmetry or reflections i'm dreadful at explaining NVR in words. Here we have squares, small black circles and what i will call a 'horizontal double line type thing'. In a, b, d and e the small black circle is always next to the square which comes before the square with the 'horizontal double line type thing' through it, in 'c' the small black circle is next to the square which comes after the square with the double line thing though it.

I know this is a very old post but I came across it 'cos I was looking for the answer to Paper 8, Section 1, Q10 and thought it might be useful for anyone else who is looking for the answer to Paper 8, Section 1, Q5 to know that it is to do with the order of the horizontal shading, dot and vertical shading. If you go around the shapes in a clockwise direction, they are in order vertical : dot : horizontal except for 'c' where they go horizontal : dot : vertical.
