I believe Eton start with 1300 and cut down to 650 in first stage and make 240 offers on A list... Looks like the odds are substantially better.
Anyone know about Winchester?

I was quoting the figures for the Westminster Under School 11 plus process, not the 13 plus one.

These are the figures on the Westminster Under School website for the 11 plus admission process for 2020 admission. DG

Also got an email yesterday. I would guess the numbers are similar to Westmister but would love to hear if anyone has better facts. They are interviewing three days a week for almost 6 months, so numbers are significant

Does anyone know how heavily the ISEB scores are weighed in the admissions process vs the interview and additional tests?

Anyone else at Westminster test today? Saw the Westminster Under boys there as well - would very roughly guesstimate 350 boys. Anyone else have any guesses/insights?

How did your son find the Westminster exam? Was it difficult.

He said the maths was quite easy - except for a last question about mixing paint quantities that none of the family maths geeks could solve (even using quadratic equations) so he may have mis-read or mis-remembered it.

That he said it was 'easy' means nothing though...he also said he did a 3 marker in 20 seconds so I'm guessing he got that wrong as he couldn't figure out why it was worth so much. There's a really big risk that he raced through it too fast and mis-understood questions or made silly mistakes.

The English he didn't quite finish as he has to write slowly and there were complex Indian names to copy out to ensure correct spellings etc. I think he left the last question undone.

Overall definitely didn't seem too traumatised and felt he did his best etc. All I can ask really.

Yes
The last maths question was very difficult. Mine could not answer it.

@toolate very similar for my son. He found maths easy/manageable (may not mean he did well) and hasn't finished the last English questions.

How would you compare to other schools? My DS says WUS was much easier than King's while his classmates feel the opposite.
