My son passed comfortably for all schools (apart from aggs!). He wants to go to our local grammar which is Stretford. So relieved!!

Sale would be my next choice....is a score of 359 enough to consider a OOC place?

Well done to all the DCs.

Last year it was 392.
Does anyone know if OOC applies if there is a sibling.

We have just received the CEM Trafford results. My DD got just over 30 marks above the pass marks for AGGS. Is there any chance she will be offered a place at AGGS?

I guess chances are higher if your daughter is in Category 3 or Category 4 and closer to teh school/within the catchment area. I don't think marks come into play once the qualifying score is achieved for AGGS - I am a newbie to the process, the admin and moderators will have a better idea.

Scores don't come into play for AGGS - it all comes down to catchment.

How many miles away are you?
Scores don’t come into it I’m afraid.

I don’t know how the OOC works. My DD got 337 for Altrincham Girls, 345 for Sale, 348 for Urmston and 356 for Stretford so quite a big difference between scores. We will put Sale first as we live in Sale so it’s our local one.

Thanks everyone who replied.

We live around 5 miles from AGGS and my daughter scored about 30 marks more than pass mark. Does she have a chance of being offered a place? I know it's down to how many other children within catchment qualified this time.
