Yes, very relieved! This is probably a bit of a pointless question but was your son’s score ‘as expected’? I only ask as my son’s was possibly lower and i’m thinking it might not bode well for the Trafford consortium results.

Ah, that’s great then. My son is unlikey to get a place at Ambrose so ideally need him to pass the Trafford ones. Ambrose was more as a back up or in case we need to appeal in the others....

The key to your question is what category your son is placed in, regards the oversubscription criteria defined by St Ambrose. If he passed the cut off pass mark and his category is high then he is with a chance.
