Hi all, I'm new to the forum, my DS received his AGSB results over the weekend. However we're OOC so although he passed well, all i can say is 'well done and let's see' for now, since he was already asking about the tram to school. Is there any info on what mark was sufficient for OOC last year? I did a few searches which is what led me here :D

AGSB OUT OF AREA OFFERS
Figures show exam year and places offered to a score of.

2012 353
2013 349
2014 342
2015 341
2016 349
2017 368

A lower pass mark for OOC usually reflects the number of places available in that intake year due to an increased PAN due to an extra (8th) class being added but the school has said they can no longer do this until they can physically expand. I know they did this for the 2014 and 2015 exam.

Hope this helps.

Thanks deltamum that's really useful - it looks like the score jumped last year, I take it thats to do with the larger catchment area so less places for OOC! Or perhaps a reduction in places if they dropped the extra 8th class you mention they added. We'll have to wait a while longer and pray for the best. Best wishes to all. I'd better try to think about other things to distract myself for a few months now :)
