Sorry you’ve had no reply. All I can suggest is that you contact the school and ask them for more information.

Places are given to kids in area 1 and then area 2 primaries both in rank order, after that it is OOC children in rank order. The question you need to ask is how many children from outside the area 1 and 2 primaries have got a place in the past few years

ETA - from this post it looks like parents are given an overall rank ? viewtopic.php?t=56324&p=694147 from this it should indicate whether an OOC child has a chance of getting a place

If you are outside tier 1 and 2 then distance makes absolutely no difference. There were kids from over 30 miles away at the induction day. It all then depends on the score, which in turn determines your place on the waiting list.

Does anyone know the typical score out of area kids needed to get to get in, or scores for top 10 waiting list?

yes that is correct, as the policy states it is in rank order - however they are then open to problem with children travelling long distances, much depends on public transport systems and 25 miles on one train leg is fine but when it means changes, or the direct bus takes over an hour it can get grim especially in the winter
