Hi All, 3rd DD taking the test this year. I've been much more relaxed this year, but now wondering if we should have done more! Too late now, but she has been a little more focused in the last few days. Aiming for good nights sleep and good food, as well as building confidence and coping when the really hard section crops up. Soon be over :D

Hi Superflygirl - the email we received in July confirming our preferred test centre said that if we hadn't received the information pack by 7th September then to contact the school, so it could still arrive in the next day or two

Just noticed DRHS have an Open Day and Evening on the 10th October
Strange timing I thought, as we will not have the results until the 14th....
I would rather not go to another open evening to then find out we didn't qualify.

Phoenix-mum, I imagine it is very deliberate timing. These open days/ evenings are primarily for year 5. By timing it before results day, you avoid these already busy events becoming super busy with additional year 6 visitors. I don't know what Denmark rd do, but we were invited to come for a visit to STRS and Pates after results day (Marling & Crypt just said to come to the upcoming open evening) so Denmark rd may well do the same if your DD qualifies.

Currently Ribston is the favourite, but we've only seen DRHS in the day time, whereas Crypt & Ribston were Evenings which are always a bit more flashy.
