Re moving into catchment, the general ECC date may be 29th November, but from - specifically - the KEGS website:

Admissions to KEGS Year 7 - Living 'in area'
In order for an application to be considered as 'in area', families must be continuously resident at their permanent home address within the priority area between 1st September at the start of Year 6 and the date of commencing the start of Year 7 at KEGS.

It means, that to be considered IC, you have to have been living in the priority admissions area from three weeks before the main date of the exam and have stayed there until at least the day the Autumn term starts when the boy joins the school in year 7.

But then, those who are serious about living in the priority area will have ensured that they have finalised their move well in advance of the beginning of year 6, won't they?

Is there a way of working out the mean % or marks out of 60 score on previous tests rather than standardised scores?

You don't even have to work it out, since tha CSSE office has obligingly provided it.

For starters, data for 20112 - 2018 entry inclusive is here:
https://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/forum/11plus/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=53858#p662081

You will have to convert the % back to raw scores if you want them. The figures for standard deviation are marks, not percentages.

The calculation for standardised scores is here:

https://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/forum/11plus/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=41452&start=80#p529665

In each case the calculation proceeds as follows:
Standardised score = (((raw score - mean) /standard deviation) x 15) + 100
Total score = 1.5 x standardised Mathematics + 1.5 x standardised English.

There was no age standardisation for any of these years.

I'm sure the 2019 entry data must be somewhere.

Here’s the 2019 entry raw scores but only for boys I’m afraid.

Another request was made for 2020 entry data but it has been refused on the basis it will be published by the CSSE in December ‘19 https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/detailed_range_of_results_for_20#incoming-1457646

Mine got 361 & we aren't in the area.
thanks parents.

It is a very good result but looking at the past cut off scores perhaps it is too low for o/c for KEGS..... do consider other schools, they had lower cut offs in the past or consider moving into the catchment area. Best of luck.

Unfortunately, it's too late to move into catchment and have the IC address used, as I quoted upthread from the KEGS admissions policy:

Admissions to KEGS Year 7 - Living 'in area'
In order for an application to be considered as 'in area', families must be continuously resident at their permanent home address within the priority area between 1st September at the start of Year 6 and the date of commencing the start of Year 7 at KEGS.

Hello. Does anyone know where we can get the English and Maths mean scores used to calculate the standardised scores for the September 2019 CSSE exams? Does anyone also have an anonymised list of all the standardised scores, both boys and girls, for the CSSE 2019 exam?
