I have ordered the papers.

I don't feel up to doing the entire maths paper. Can someone who has looked at the maths paper point me to the question numbers of which maths questions were tough?

I ‘sat’ paper ‘this evening... DD marked my paper for me which she thought was great fun!

The results are in and, as an adult, after a grammar school education myself, a B in GCSE maths, a career that heavily relies on my numerical accuracy... 41/60

Question 7 a and b
Question 12 a and b
Question 20b
Question 23

I did not see the CSSE 2019 entry papers. But I am extremely proud on my DD by achieving 49/60 in Maths CSSE exam. It really push her standardised score and got admission in preferred school.

Best luck to everyone who is preparing for Sept 2019 test for 2020 entry.

:D :D

Congratulations and well done to your DD. Indeed its a very good maths score.

Would you like to share your DD score and school details to be added to the 2019 entry admission score list?

After reading this thread even I am very proud of my son's maths score. He got 56 out of 60. I am not bragging (his words) his score
On the exam day, he said that he could not solve one question related to a number machine even after multiple trial, assuming he must have made 3 more mistakes.

I have looked at that question and I can say that I would not have expected him to solve that question at that time. He could solve it now with a small bit of hint from my end.

CSSE always throws some surprise in their paper.

My advice for children preparing for 2020 is to identify such questions that they should try but not waste a lot of time. Sometimes, kids get stuck is such questions and miss other questions that they can easily solve.
They should be told to leave such questions for end and finish all questions that they could solve easily and attempt these ones at the end.

I've received a copy of my maths test paper today. On top it says 2019 - test 2.
Does anyone have one that says "test 1", as I'd like to know whether there were two different tests or not?

Or does it just mean paper 2 of 2 (English paper 1)
