DD 317 non pp not offered QMHS.

Do we know what the cut off is or when we'll be able to get this?

You will need to remain patient. You should be able to ring the admissions officer at the school and ask her what the cut off was and where your daughter is on the waiting list.Every year there is movement from the waiting list from the offer date until well into the start of the next academic year.

Good luck to your daughter. Please post any information it will assist other parents.

cut off QM girls is 321 non pp

My daughter score 311 for WGHS. How likely is she to secure a place in the WGHS? She is on the WL. Based on previous years experience, how low does the cut-off point usually go below?
Thank you.

Kanchi, what number is she on the list? My daughter was 7th last year and 1 mark off the cut off score. She was given a place approximately a month after places were offered.

thanks that is v helpful Ca77, suspect the numbers aren't out yet, website says about 10 days after the allocation day. Hopefully that will give more of an idea as to position

Thank you Ca77. That's helpful to know. Unfortunately, the school said the waiting list will only be available after the 15th, till then I will not be able to find out the position on the W/L.
Meanwhile, I am praying and hoping my daughter gets a place.

QMHS waiting list is out. You can call school to check what number your child is. All the best!

WGHS - confirmed in letter from them.

lowest offer on allocation = 313

Waiting list is made up of candidates who scored within 2% of the last year to be offered an automatic admission place, ie 307 and above.

So @kanchi - with 311 your daughter will be on the list.

Unfortunately my DD2 scored 304 so is excluded from the list. Shame as DD1 has loved her time at WGHS, however DD2 is happy with her 2nd choice school and it’s a short walk rather than a bus journey away.

Good luck to the 2021 intake and thanks for all on the forum over the two occasions we’ve gone through this process from helping explain and guide through what can be a daunting experience for all.

Thank you for the hope @2016hoping, I am sorry to learn about your daughter's score, But I am certain no matter whichever school she goes to, she will definitely shine as she has you as her mum and also with her sister's influence.
