Hello every one,

My DS will be sitting Kent test. We did GL assessment Variety paper with my DS over the weekend,

Pack 1 - Eng - 53%
Maths - 82%
VR - 86%
NVR - 67%

Pack 2 - Eng - 51%
NVR - 77%

Firstly I am confused how to score these test paper. I am just counting total questions and how much he did correct answer. Hope this make sense.

So lets say if there are 49 question in eng and he scored 25 out of 49. He got 51%. Hope I am doing this right (Please advise ) :?
How to work out his standardise score as he is May born

Also Looking at his score in English i am little bit concern he is doing lot wrong in comprehension. Any advise or trick how to improve comprehension?

Thanks in Advance

Cant wait to get 11+ over... :o :D

You are calculating the percentage score fine, however you can’t calculate a standardised score. That is based on how your child does compared to who everyone one else has done on the same test. (If age standardisation is used, that it is typically compared to to others taking the test born in the same month).
